What to Wear

(Note: this is only a guide and they can wear whatever they feel comfortable and can move well in.)

For girls: leotard and tights or tight t-shirt and leggings
For boys: tight fitting t-shirt and tights/shorts or leggings

Shoes: For ballet and jazz – ballet shoes are best but socks with grips or bare feet are fine (no jiffies please as they are not suited to pointed feet). For tap – some sort of dress shoe, boot or something that makes a good sound or tap shoes of course.

Dance shops

Target has quite a lot of leotards etc. or you might be lucky in op shops. I will advertise any second hand shoes from past or present students on this site as well.
